2010 Play 4 The Kids Tournament Cheat Sheet
2010 Chateau Élan Woodlands Course – Many consider this course to be the most picturesque of the three courses at Chateau Élan. The rolling hills and numerous elevations make the course play much longer than its 6,735 official length. There are tree lined fairways, several lakes and plenty of strategically placed sand traps. Here is the hole by hole description for the Woodlands Course:

Hole 1 – A ‘Grip it and Rip it’ par 5. Best to use right side of the fairway here. Sponsored by kidsRkids Early Learning Centers
Hole 2 – Tee shot is critical for a birdie on this par 3. Keep it dry! This is the Hole-In-One Contest Hole. Sponsored by O’Kelley and Sorohan Attorneys at Law
Hole 3 – Par 4 with a blind tee shot (play just to the right of the bunker). This hole should yield a lot of birdies. This hole is In Memory of Charlie Smallen.
Hole 4 – Got guts? Go for it on this downhill par 4. The safe play is to go for the 150 marker and attack from there. Sponsored by ProTech Home and Property Inspections.
Hole 5 – Tough uphill shot from the tee. Be in the middle for the best approach. Sponsored by Old Republic Home Warranty.
Hole 6 – Bring enough club to this par 3. The pin is in the back! This is a Closest-To-The-Pin Contest Hole. Sponsored by Chick-fil-A.
Hole 7 – The ‘Long Drive’ hole and the approach shot is longer than you think. The “Long Drive” is sponsored By Acura Carland.
Hole 8 – A tricky par 5! It takes two perfect shots to putt at eagle here. Sponsored by Brand Mortgage.
Hole 9 – A short par 4. Get it past 150 for easier second shot. Birdies galore here. This hole is In Memory of Tom Evearitt.
Hole 10 – Par 5 with a ton of beach on the right. Stay left, hit a couple of good shots and score big on the 12 handicap hole. Sponsored by Hudnall, Cohn, Fyvolent & Shaver, P.C. Attorneys at Law.
Hole 11 – Red Bomber! Men hit from the red tees and ladies move to the special tee area in the fairway. We want some eagles! The “Red Bomber” is sponsored by RMS Management.
Hole 12 – Tee shot placement critical and be on right side of fairway. This is a fun hole. This hole is In Memory of Gale Eidelman.
Hole 13 – A beautiful par 3 but not as short as you think! This is a Closest-To-The-Pin Contest Hole. Sponsored by RE/MAX Center.
Hole 14 – Play the right side of the ridge and tee shots will run down the middle on the other side. Sponsored by Ganek, Wright and Minsk.
Hole 15 – Obstacles everywhere on this par 5. Reachable in two but you may want to get the par and get outta there! This hole is In Memory of Shelia Beining.
Hole 16 – Sand in play off the tee on this par 4. Play to 140 to avoid a trip to the beach. Sponsored by Longhorn Steakhouse.
Hole 17 – A par 3, Closest to the Pin. Hit it high and land it soft for best results. This is a Closest-To-The-Pin Contest Hole. Sponsored by Advantage Mortgage Partners.
Hole 18 – Play tee shots to the right of 150. Approach shots should be high and land soft on the smallest green of the day! Sponsored by Children’s Dentistry.
